| Automation | | |
| |
| |
| |
| Modes | | Automation is handled via the Mixer and AudioUnit panels is several different ways: - Slave: controllers play as recorded and will reset any changes made by the mixer or AudioUnit panels. User changes are set to the devices but not recorded and are overridden as soon as a scheduled recorded change is sent.
- Master: recorded automation is not sent to the devices, instead the current mixer and AudioUnit panel control values are used and user changes are sent to the devices but not recorded.
- Write: The above two modes can be augmented so user changes are inserted into the recorded changes.
- Set Levels: Controller levels can be set over their entire existing duration. Recorded changes are sent as per slave mode.
|
| MIDI | | MIDI controllers are all automated via the mixer. |
| AudioUnits | | Parameter changes made through the mixer and through AudioUnit panels can be recorded in real-time. The automation mode can also be set using a pop-up in the toolbar attached to all AudioUnit panel windows. |
| Persistence | | Automation mode stays with the track throughout a session and is restored when reopening a document. |
| |
| AudioUnit Presets | | |

Any displayed pedal controllers will also be printed. |
| Exporting | | Compositions can be exported as audio in the following formats: AIFF, AAC (MPEG-4), 3GPP, AU, WAVE, QuickTime movie. Composition can also be exported as type 1 Standard MIDI Files (SMF or .mid files) with the same resolution as Intuem's .composition files. Some formatting is lost, and all but the current take for each track is lost, text, markers tempo changes and signatures are kept. |
| Importing | | Opens CD audio tracks, AIFF, MP3, AAC (MPEG-4), 3GPP, QuickTime, AVI, Sound Designer II, AU, WAVE and System 7 sound files. Reads type 0 and type 1 Standard MIDI files, RMID files. Reads also ".syx" System Exclusive data files as compositions or may be imported directly into a track. |
| Projects | | Compositions with many audio files can be exploded and saved as an Intuem Project with out-board audio files that can be shared among other projects. Projects can be converted back into compositions for simple portability. |
| |
| * Unlimited means no set limit except those limits determined by your computer's speed, memory and available disk space. |
