| | Common Goals As the only well-rounded music environment for Mac OS X that is intended for beginners and experts alike, we take our approach to music making very seriously. Educators rely on Intuem for its ease of use and uncluttered human interface. Intuem's clarity did not come by accident. We have worked on the design and layout of Intuem for several years, making sure additions are in keeping with the whole and with the ideals of simplicity, ease of adoption and empowerment. We hope you too will appreciate our attention to the details that make Intuem so easy to use and master yet powerful enough for professional musicians. | | | Keeping It Simple Intuem has three styles for the composition window: original Aqua, brushed metal, or the newer standard dark style. The mixer has two styles too: brushed metal, and the newer standard dark style with new controls and mixer modes. There's a good reason for this: each version is fundamentally different: the new darker style in Intuem 4 represents a more pro-oriented interface with more buttons on screen and newer more sophisticated tools that not everyone will want; the brushed metal represents a step toward a simpler interface, and the Aqua style gives a novice no more than what's needed. You can choose the interface style that suits the computer literacy and musical ability of your students. When you students become more proficient you can introduce more features to them simply by changing the window style. We think it's a lot smarter than selling you a cut-down version of Intuem and making you pay for more when you inevitably need it! | | | Intuem as Teaching Tool If you have suggestions, or problems you would like Intuem to solve for you, please don't hesitate to write to us with them at:support@intuem.com Ear Training Intuem 3.5 can record audio and convert MIDI to audio in one step: If you needed an ear training assignment you could create a composition containing an audio track with a piece of music, or only a phrase, made by recording your own audio performance into Intuem, or by recording it as MIDI then converting it to audio. You could then add an empty MIDI track before distributing the composition to your students to fill in the notes to match the audio as a test of their abilities. They could submit the composition back to you, or print it out as a manuscript. | | | | | | Discounts & Purchase Orders We offer significant discounts for educators buying in quantity.
